Comments: 1971: Most of the steel hull was constructed at associate Ryton Engineering
& then transported by road to North-Eastern Engineering Ltd at Wallsend.
It was then lifted into the river by their large hammerhead crane.
The hull was then towed to Ryton Marine and hauled up its slipway in a cradle.
The completed hull was then re-launched in 1972.
