History:
08/09/1918 British Royal Navy
16/09/1918 Sank
Comments: Launched as coastal defence ship BJOERGVIN for the Government of Norway
11/1914: Taken over by the Admiralty for use as a coastal monitor
Completion delayed by other more urgent work
16/09/1918: Fire and explosion whilst in Dover harbour
Scuttled by torpedo to prevent further explosions that could have devastated the town
However the upturned hull was an obstruction to shipping using the port
03/1926: Wreck moved out of the way, partly broken up and later covered in landfill
