1993 Tyne Towage Ltd, Newcastle; renamed ANYA DEV
199x Unknown owner; LADY LAURA
2006 Vincent O'Driscoll (t/a Sherkin Island Ferry); renamed MYSTIC WATERS
Comments: Built for the North-South Shields service, capacity 130 x passengers
1971: Most of the steel hull was constructed at associate Ryton Engineering
Sections transported by road to North-Eastern Marine Engineering at Wallsend
Completed hull lifted into the river by NEM's large hammerhead crane
Hull then towed to Ryton Marine and hauled up the slipway in a cradle
The completed hull was then re-launched in March 1972
Early problems with the engines due to rubbish in the river blocking cooling intakes
2006: Operates on the Cork to Sherkin Island service
2024: Still in services
